The sad and tragic saga of the Whitney Houston/Bobby Brown union continues to claim yet another victim as Bobbi Kristina dies from injuries suffered after being discovered in a bath tub unresponsive– eerily similar to her mother’s death. After five months of medical induced coma, her death at age 22 was confirmed today by her family.
The young Miss Brown, seemingly, ensnarled by the same demons of fame that previously plagued her parents and other family members, prematurely departs us with a life of unfinished promise.
Sadly, this provides another example that the lure of fame, fortune and celebrity is far too often an empty road lacking joy, happiness and spiritual enrichment: in other words, an illusion.
The icons we worship in our pop cult of personality often live desperate lives filled with depression, desperation and loneliness.
There go I but for the grace of god.
Kristina Brown, 22, the only daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, died Sunday, nearly five months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub of her home, her family said.
Brown has been unresponsive in hospitals and hospice care since she was found in a bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia, home on Jan. 31. Her family said she suffered irreversible brain damage.
“She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” her family told NBC News in a statement. “We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
Bobbi Kristina was music royalty as the daughter of two superstars — and the granddaughter of another, Cissy Houston, the mother of Whitney, who died in February 2012. source
